Ben Folds Has Just Announced a 2025 Tour Featuring Solo Performances, Orchestral Collaborations, And Fan Participation In The Paper Airplane Request Tour

Ben Fold reveals the tour, comprising of solo shows, orchestral collaborations, and the interactive Paper Airplane Request Tour.

Folds stated that his 2025 tour will comprise solo appearances, symphony orchestral collaborations, and the return of his interactive Paper Airplane Request Tour. The tour commences with a performance with the Kansas City Symphony in Kansas City, Missouri, on March 18-19. For the months thereafter, he is set to perform with notable orchestras in cities including Detroit, Milwaukee, and Chicago.

Another main event of Folds’s symphony activities will be a return of his fan-favorite Paper Airplane Request Tour, where audience members write song requests on paper airplanes and throw them onto the stage. Stops for this interactive experience include Johnson City, Tennessee, on April 11 and Marietta, Ohio, on April 12. He will give many solo performances in Warren, Ohio, Wausau, Wisconsin, and Portland, Maine. The last concert will happen on December 2, 2025, in Portland, Oregon.

Folds is widely recognized as the frontman of Ben Folds Five and has thus given the group an honored name among alternative rock and piano-driven pop. His hit songs include Brick, Army, and The Luckiest, and he has worked with artists like Regina Spektor and Weird Al Yankovic. In addition to music, he has served as a judge on NBC’s The Sing-Off and worked as an artistic advisor for the National Symphony Orchestra.
