There is “no room to doubt” Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre are together.
Under the auspices of announcing her relationship status, Teyana Taylor was photographed Sunday night at the Vanity Fair Oscars party with Mufasa: The Lion King’s Aaron Pierre.
Coming 2 America star Taylor shared three pictures with the caption: “Oscar night in black & white, no grey area.” Definitely confirming her relationship with the British artist.
They were spotted together at the VF party, but a representative for Pierre and Taylor did not immediately respond to The Times’s requests for the confirmation of the relationship on Tuesday.

Standing a good few inches taller than his lady, the 6’3″ Pierre stand in a Tux with a white bow tie, his hands formally tucked in his pants pockets, whereas Taylor stands with her hands on her hips in a plunging black halter gown for the first dramatic black-and-white photograph she shared.
We see the third frame back-to-back, where the Genius: MLK/X actor slings his jacket over one arm and striking a slightly James Bond pose while she highlights her shiny stilettos and bumps her booty into him. The next shot shows them peering down at Pierre’s watch. “Anyone up for A View To A Kill”?
Actor and comedian B. Simone commented, “That’s how you pop out and show,” while crip-walker Serena Williams said, “Oooooppp lol love this.” LaLa Anthony, Taraji P. Henson, and Keke Palmer weighed in with well wishes, with Palmer jokingly adding, “Now I’m mad because they ain’t sent me my pictures.”

The new couple arrives more than a year after Taylor split from and subsequently divorced former professional basketball player Iman Shumpert. Taylor won “The Masked Singer” as Firefly in 2022, after Shumpert was crowned winner of the “Dancing With the Stars” Mirror Ball trophy as the 1st NBA player ever in 2021, before their breakup.
In “Mufasa: The Lion King,” Barry Jenkins’ prequel, Pierre, who starred in “The Underground Railroad,” voiced Mufasa. Pierre can currently be heard in “Joker: Folie a Deux,” which earned the award for Worst Remake, Rip-Off, or Sequel, where the music stars Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. The series’ fourth-season opening episode will soon feature Pierre alongside Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon in AppleTV+’s “The Morning Show.”
Taylor’s IMDb has him starring in Paul Thomas Anderson’s yet-to-be-titled “event film,” currently in postproduction and set to come out this year. Among the cast are Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Wood Harris, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Alana Haim. The Hollywood Reporter stated that the plot and title of the movie are being kept somewhat “under wraps.”
