Teddi Mellencamp Said That After Doctors Discovered Many Tumours, She Is Having Brain Surgery
On Wednesday, February 12, Teddi Mellencamp, 43, posted on Instagram, “The pain was so bad yesterday that I had to go to the hospital.”
Following an MRI and CT scan, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alumnus revealed that “doctors found multiple tumours on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months.”
Mellencamp disclosed that the “remaining smaller tumours will be dealt with via radiation at a later date,” while two of her tumours would be “surgically removed today.”
The former Bravo personality, who is now divorcing her estranged spouse Edwin Arroyave, said her inner circle keeps her positive. (The three children of the split couple are Dove, 4, Cruz, 10, and Slate, 12. Isabella, Arroyave’s oldest daughter, is also stepmothered by her.)
She stated, “I am fortunate to have my kids, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons by my side, doing everything they can to help me regain my health.”
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey,” Mellencamp said in closing.
Two years after battling stage II melanoma cancer, Mellencamp has provided an update on her health. Months after a mole on her back was removed to discover the malignant cells, the reality star confirmed her diagnosis in October 2022.

In January 2023, she disclosed that she had three new spots that “needed to be biopsied” after having the moles removed at the time.
Mellencamp had several melanoma removals throughout 2023 before undergoing a “wide excision melanoma” treatment in December, which she stated “went well.”
Mellencamp posted on social media in March 2024 that although her scars were healing well, “the doctor felt we should biopsy one abnormal spot” during her check-up. “I’m hoping it’s nothing,” she added, “because it’s on the opposite side of my body. However, I thought this would be a wonderful moment to remind you to get those skin checks.
Mellencamp believed she had finally made progress in her fight against skin cancer by the end of the year.
“I just finished crying a little, but it was a good weep. In a heartfelt Instagram video posted in December 2024, she said, “I’ve had my three-month check and haven’t needed a biopsy because I have another cancerous spot for the first time in over two years.” “My doctor and I simply stared at one another and said, ‘What?'” Oh my goodness, it was such a pleasant feeling.
