Christian Wolff, played by Ben Affleck, is a gifted solver of difficult problems. Wolff is forced to solve the death of an old acquaintance who leaves a strangely cryptic note asking him to, “Find the accountant.” Wolff quickly realizes that he needs much more extreme measures, and therefore turns to his estranged and highly dangerous brother, Brax (Jon Bernthal). Together with Cynthia Addai-Robinson’s character, the U.S. Treasury’s Deputy Director Marybeth Medina, they discover a deadly scheme and fall prey to a vicious network of assassins who will do whatever it takes to hide their secrets.
