Paddington In Peru Has Digital Release Date for Spring 2025
Fans of the world’s most endearing marmalade-loving bear can get out their calendars: Paddington in Peru, the third film in the series of life-affirming movies, will land on video-on-demand (VOD) platforms April 29, 2025. The movie will also be available for purchase or rental from major digital retailers like Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV.
A New Adventure Unfolds
Directed by Dougal Wilson (in his feature film debut) and written by Mark Burton, Jon Foster, and James Lamont — with a story by Paul King, Simon Farnaby and Burton — Paddington in Peru brings the beloved bear back to his roots. With the ever-encouraging Brown family in tow, Paddington travels to Peru to visit Aunt Lucy (voiced by Imelda Staunton) at the Home for Retired Bears. But their journey takes an unexpected turn when a mysterious find comes to light, sending them on a colourful adventure featuring the Amazon rainforest and the spectacular mountains of the Andes.

Star-Studded Cast Returns
The film sees some fan-favorite actors reuniting such as Hugh Bonneville (Henry Brown), Emily Mortimer (Mary Brown), Madeleine Harris (Judy Brown), Samuel Joslin (Jonathan Brown) and Julie Walters (Mrs. Bird). Ben Whishaw returns to voice the well-meaning Paddington, while newcomers to the franchise include Antonio Banderas as Hunter Cabot, Olivia Colman as Clarissa Cabot/The Reverend Mother and Carla Tous as Gina Cabot.

From Theaters to Home Screens
Having dazzled audiences on the big screen earlier this year (Sony Pictures Releasing opened the film in U.S. theaters on Feb. 14, 2025), this family-friendly adventure is ready to wow home audiences as well. Told with its trademark mix of whimsy, humor and warm fuzzies, Paddington in Peru will be a terrific send-off (or possibly a new beginning?) on the bear’s cinematic journey.
