Update for Euphoria Season 3: New Cast Members and Returning Stars Announced

HBO has revealed the returning and new cast for Season Three of Euphoria. The show is now filming in Los Angeles.

Who Are the Season 3 Returning Stars of Euphoria?

Zendaya, known for Dune and Challengers, will again play Rue Bennett. Joining her are:

  • Jacob Elordi, known for Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein and Wuthering Heights, will play Nate Jacobs. Eric Dane, a SAG Awards winner, will play Cal Jacobs. Hunter Schafer, known for the upcoming Blade Runner, will play Jules Vaughn.
  • Emmy-nominated Sydney Sweeney will play Cassie Howard in Anybody but You and The Housemaid. Alexa Demie will play Maddy Perez.
  • Maude Apatow will play Lexi Howard. Emmy-nominated Martha Kelly will play Laurie, now a series regular.
  • Chloe Cherry, who plays Faye, has also been promoted to series regular. Colman Domingo, an Emmy winner, will return as Ali.
  • Variety reports that Dominic Fike will return for Season 3.

Who Are the New Season 3 Cast Members of Euphoria?

Season 3 will feature guest stars like Rosalía, a GRAMMY Award winner. Marshawn Lynch, a Super Bowl winner, will also appear. Darrell Britt-Gibson, a SAG Awards nominee, will join the cast.

Kadeem Hardison, a NAACP Image Award winner, will play a role. Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, and Anna Van Patten will also be part of the show.

Sam Levinson created, wrote, and directed Euphoria. Zendaya, an Emmy winner, stars in the series, developed with A24.

Lynch said, “I’m really excited about the show and the opportunity to collaborate with the people in front of and behind the camera.” He added, “I simply appreciate the chance, at the end of the day.”

Rosalía said, “Being a better performer every day is something that delights me as much as discovering a wonderful tune or a good phrase.” She mentioned Euphoria as her favorite show and expressed her gratitude for working with the cast and crew.

Hardison said, “When I learned that I had made the reservation, I was ecstatic.” He mentioned his friendship with Zendaya and his excitement to be filming in Los Angeles.

Both Toby Wallace and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will join as series regulars. Colleen Atwood, a four-time Oscar winner, co-produces. Natasha Newman-Thomas and François Audouy also join the team.

Julio C. Perez IV is back as co-producer and supervising editor. He won an Emmy for his work. Marcell Rév, the director of photography, is also returning.

Doniella Davy is back as head of makeup. Ryan Heffington, the Emmy-winning choreographer, is returning. Kim Kimble, an Emmy nominee, is back as head of hair.

The show has won nine Emmys out of 25 nominations. Colman Domingo won for Best Guest Actor in a Drama. Zendaya won twice for Best Actress in a Drama.

Sam Levinson won a DGA Award for the episode Stand Still Like the Hummingbird. Despite its success, Euphoria is still one of HBO’s most-watched shows.

In 2026, Euphoria Season 3 will debut on Max.
